A Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputy was arrested this morning for aggravated battery and domestic abuse child endangerment. She has since been fired.

CPSO spokesperson Kayla Vincent said Deputy Brittney Williams worked in investigations and had been with the department for about 14 years before being terminated.

The Lake Charles Police Department made the arrest at about 11:30 am Tuesday morning.
