Pearly Joyce Robertson, 65, departed this life on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at her residence in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born May 23, 1956, to Oscar Robertson and Vera Lee Jenkins in Lake Charles, LA.  She worked at Resthaven Nursing Home, Rosewood Nursing home and Lake Charles Care Center.  

She leaves to cherish her memories her fiancé, Eugene Randle; five children, Sonya Jenkins, Rodney Jenkins, Bryan Deville, Keith Robertson and Joshua Robertson; her siblings, Kelvin Robertson, Bobby Jenkins, Alfred Jenkins all of Lake Charles, LA and Margaret and Wilbert Smith of Breaux Bridge, LA; five grandchildren, Sasha Dargin, Kirsten Robertson, Horacio Robertson, Shiryia Brown and Rodneisha Edwards; two great grandchild, Harper Bonet Dargin and Kayden Edwards; one aunt, Lee Wheatley of California and 18 nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Robertson and Verna Lee Jenkins; paternal grandparents, Willie and Nancy Robertson; maternal grandparents, Martin and Edith Jenkins; two sisters, Erma Jenkins and Wanda Wilfred; aunts, Minnie Robertson, Sadie Robertson, Olivia Robertson, Sophia Ezola Jenkins-Thomas, Martha Jenkins Coleman and Elvira Jenkins; uncles, Sully Robertson and Daniel Jenkins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at King’s Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Perkins Cemetery under the direction of King’s Funeral Home.
