11/1: Calcasieu Parish Sheriff announces arrest list

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
Daniel Markeil Smith, 38, Vidalia — illegal possession of stolen things from $25,000 or more; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; three counts drug possession; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less). Bond: $79,000.
Nathan James Bergeron, 36, 414 E. Napoleon St., Sulphur — illegal use of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of persons under 17; two counts drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; obstruction of justice; illegal carrying of weapon during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS; illegal possession of stolen things less than $1,000; headlamps on motor vehicles; direct contempt of court. Bond: $29,550.
Louis Carlton Pool, 44, 116 Brantley St., DeQuincy — theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000; identity theft $1,000 or more. Bond: $5,000.
David Bordelon Sr., 53, Eunice — two counts residential contractor fraud $25,000 or more. Bond: $10,000.
Russell Craig Perkins, 32, 1385 Rosie Hollie Road, DeQuincy — two counts simple criminal damage to property from $1,000 but less than $50,000; theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000; theft less than $1,000. Bond: $60,000.
John Timothy Marcantel, 27, 5859 Tom Hebert Road No. 97 — domestic abuse battery, child endangerment.
James Quinton Jamar Thomas, 36, 1604 California St. — simple criminal damage to property from $1,000 but less than $50,000; domestic abuse battery. Bond: $5,000.
Candice Rae Peloquin, 34, 925 Atlanta Ave., Moss Bluff — obstruction of justice. Bond: $20,000.
Anthony Elfrem Reed, 35, Orange, Texas — theft of a firearm; theft of a motor vehicle from $25,000 or more. Bond: $45,000.
Jacob Michael Tesko, 18, 1601 Stevenson St., Vinton — unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; hit-and-run driving; flight from an officer; penalties for stop and yield sign violations; all drivers must secure license.
Jonathin David Babineaux, 20, 2738 Ollinz Morgan Road, Sulphur — simple criminal damage to property from $50,000 or more; criminal trespass; resisting an officer. Bond: $28,000.
Michael William Barulich, 39, Bridge City, Texas — direct contempt of court; theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000; monetary instrument abuse; forgery.
James August Vincent, 42, 2890 La. 3063, Vinton — domestic abuse battery, child endangerment; resisting an officer; direct contempt of court.
