The Jeff Davis Parish School Board is set to meet at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, to discuss whether or not the school district will drop the mask mandate for students.

Gov. John Bel Edwards said Tuesday he was lifting the indoor masks mandate except for K-12 schools. School districts may opt out of the required mask mandate if they continue to implement CDC guidance on quarantining.
