Vicki LeDoux

Vicki Lanza LeDoux, 66, left our world on Thursday, June
10, 2021 to be with our Lord, following a nine and a half month battle with cancer. She was one of the kindest, most thoughtful and good-hearted people to ever walk this earth. Never forgetting a birthday or a person’s name, she genuinely cared about
each person she met. A graduate of St. Louis High School, she attended Mc-Neese State University, was a devoted and prayerful member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception parish, and was a meticulous bookkeeper for her family’s business,
Joseph’s Electrical Center. Vicki was a past queen of Krewe du Lac and was an accomplished ballet dancer for many years, still remembered for her impressive leaps and pirouettes as the The Nutcracker’s soldier doll under the direction of Ida Clarke.
She loved to cook and was the best at creating her own recipes. She will be fondly remembered for her love of each holiday, having decorations, outfits and earrings for everything from Valentine’s Day to Thanksgiving, and for her love of her second
family at Chastain’s restaurant where she went nearly every Wednesday night for over 20 years.

Vicki will be greatly missed by her mother, Florence Meyer Lanza, daughter, Erin Tucker Howle, her “favorite” son-in-law, Richard
Howle, grandsons, Dylan and Brady, her brothers, Randy Lanza, Ricky Lanza, Danny Lanza, Joey Lanza and their spouses, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph M. Lanza, and her older brother, Dr.
Michael Lanza.

A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 14th at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, with a funeral Mass beginning at 2 p.m. Burial services will follow at Consolata Cemetery. Msgr. Harry Greig
will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to her grandsons’ school, Our Lady Queen of Heaven School. Donations may be made online at www.olqhs.org (Click Support Us, then Donate Now, and designate Heavenly Annual Fund) or by mail at 3908 Creole St., Lake Charles, LA 70605.
