Gloria Jane Ardoin Daigle, 76, of Lake Charles, died Wednesday, March 31, at home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 5, at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Burial will be in Ardoin Cove Cemetery in Lacassine.

Milstein Greenberg

Riva (Reve) Milstein Greenberg, 89, passed away on April 1, 2021, in Lake Charles. Reve was born June 5, 1931, in South St. Paul, Minn., and married Stuart Greenberg in 1951.

Reve is survived by her daughter, Jill Susan Greenberg of Oceanside, Calif.; her sister, Corene Milstein Davidson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart Greenberg; parents, Ceil and Henry (Hy) Milstein; and daughter, Cathy Greenberg Milgrom; and brother-in-law, Simon Davidson.

A Celebration of Reve’s Life is planned for the Fall in Lake Charles.

Roland Francis Pesson Sr., 92, of Lake Charles, died Tuesday, March 30, in a local hospital. A Mass of Christian burial will be noon Tuesday, April 6, at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Interment will be in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation Monday will be from 4:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 6 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Visitation Tuesday will be from 11 a.m. until the start of service at the church.

Linda E. Richardson, 79, of Longville, died Wednesday, March 31, at home. Private graveside service will be held at a later date at Alston Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Snider Funeral Home.

Zealon Dray Solomon

Zealon Dray Solomon, 34, of Breaux Bridge, formerly of Oakdale, died Monday, March 29. Celebrating the Life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 3, in First Baptist Church – Oakdale. Committal service will be in Community Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Mary Velma Woodard, 84, of Lake Charles, died Thursday, April 1, at home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Interment will be in Old Ritchie Cemetery. A Rosary service Wednesday will begin at 10 a.m. Visitation will follow until the time of service in the funeral home.
