BOSTON RED SOX — Optioned INF Jonathan Arauz to an alternate training site. Reassigned C Chris Herrmann, INF/OF Danny Santana, OFs Cesar Puello and Michael Gettys and RHPs Kevin McCarthy and Marcus Walden to minor leagues.

CLEVELAND INDIANS — Agreed to terms with INFs Jake Bauers and Yu Chang, OF Ben Gamel, LHP Oliver Perez. Optioned INF Bobby Bradley, OF Bradley Zimmer and LHP Kyle Nelson to Columbus (Triple-A East). Released LHPs Anthony Gose and Blake Parker.
