Dallas Lavell Webb Sr., 78, of Westlake, La., died
Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, in a local healthcare facility.
Mr. Webb was a native of Boyce, LA and in 1972 made the Lake area home for his family. Early in life, he began working for his uncles with Odell Vinson Oil Field Contractors and then
Davies Construction, retiring with a combined total of nearly fifty years. He prepared land, built platforms, roads and drilling sites. Mr. Webb was privileged to share his skill and knowledge with his sons as they all worked with him at some point
in time. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. He will be remembered as a devoted family man who worked hard to provide well.
He leaves to honor his memory, his wife of fifty-nine years, Betty Grisham Webb of Westlake; five
sons, Brian Scott Webb, Sr. (Sarah) of Sulphur, Deland Kane Webb (Wendy) and John David Webb (Tiffany), of Moss Bluff, and Charles Edward Webb and Jeffrey Todd Webb of Westlake; one brother, Louis Edward Webb, Jr. (Eileen) of San Jose, CA; sixteen
grandchildren; Heather Aaron, Ashley, Miranda and Erica Webb, Brian Scott, Jr., Aaron O’Quinn, Blake Domingue, Landen, Delaney, Courtney, Mackensie, Abbigail, Greyson and Kailyn Webb and Taylor and Riley Webb and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dallas Lavell Webb, Jr.; parents, Louis Edward Webb, Sr. and Zennie Mae Vinson; one brother, Douglas Roger Webb and one sister, Betty Sue Wyland.
In respect of his wishes, Mr. Webb was cremated
and his family will gather privately in remembrance.
