JENNINGS – Jeff Davis Parish’s top principals, teachers and support persons of the year have been announced by the School Board.

A reception to recognize all the winners is planned for the spring of 2021.

Principals of the year are: Amy Treme, Welsh Elementary; Frances LeBlanc, Fenton Elementary and Selena Gomes, Jennings High.

Teachers of the year: Jennifer Howell, Elton Elementary; Sabrina Meche, Fenton Elementary; Kim Sonnier, Hathaway High; Amanda Broussard, James Ward Elementary; Maria Miller, Jennings Elementary; Ann Nunez, Lacassine High; Jill Ortego, Lake Arthur Elementary and Jenny McNabb, West Elementary.

Lisa Verret, Elton High; Michelle Sawyer, Hathaway High; Dianna Hopper, Jennings High; Amie Matte-Cobb, Lacassine High; Heidi Duplantis, Lake Arthur High and Leslie Giggar, Welsh-Roanoke Junior High.
