Two sought in store robbery

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies are searching for armed robbery suspects wanted in the theft of a convenience store on Elliott Road.

Spokeswoman Kayla Vincent said deputies responded to the robbery at about 3 a.m. Monday morning in the 7600 block of Elliott Road.

“The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect entered the store with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk,” Vincent said. “The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene in a tan or gold colored Chevrolet Silverado.”

She said detectives believe there was another suspect waiting in the Silverado at the time of the robbery.

Tabarus Andrae Peake, 34, 33 Pecan Drive, Moss Bluff — operating while intoxicated, third offense; operating vehicle while license is suspended; possession of alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles.

Raylisha Michelle Hanks, 28, Texas City, Texas —aggravated assault with a firearm. Bond: $5,000.

Jorge Matta, 41, Houston — domestic abuse battery.

Nickolas Troy Clark, 42, 2140 Evelyn St. — criminal trespass; operating a vehicle while under suspension for certain prior offenses; three counts drug possession, prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia. Bond: $10,000.

Kevin Joseph Lejeune, 29, 6257 River Road — illegal use of weapons or dangerous instruments; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies. Bond: $15,000.

Dylan Jade Hanks, 30, 809 Pugh St., DeQuincy — simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Bond: $5,000.

Joseph Scott Prince, 28, 300 La. 109 South, Starks ‚ aggravated battery. Bond: $25,000.

Charles Hardy Meyers, 50, 5168 LA Little Road, Sulphur — domestic abuse battery; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less).

Jacob Paul Bradford, 30, 205 N. Crocker St., Sulphur — aggravated assault upon a peace officer with a firearm; resisting an officer. Bond: $80,000.

George Harris III, 23, 1527 California St. — disturbing the peace; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); two counts possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; two counts theft of a motor vehicle from $5,000 but less than $25,000; identity theft less than $300; four counts simple burglary; two counts theft of a firearm; two counts theft less than $1,000.

Bobby Gabriel Diaz Jr., 39, 603 Oleo St. — simple assault; domestic abuse battery, pregnant victim; domestic abuse battery, child endangerment; drug possession.

Billy Joe Lucas, 37, 5859 Tom Hebert Road — cruelty to juveniles.
