Swiney Ceasar Sr

Swiney Ceasar Sr was born to Guy & Serena Cezere on
September 4, 1947 in Mallet, La. He was raised, loved and nurtured by Ivory & Corrine Guillory of Kinder, La. Swiney spent a majority of his younger years in Mallet (Swords), La and attended Guillory Elementary School. Later moving to Kinder, La
and graduating from Carver High School in 1965. He enlisted into the United States Army in January 1968. After he served, he returned to Kinder and begun working in the Construction Industry in Lake Charles, La. He met and married Ella Mae Artis
Ceasar on November 18, 1972 in Oberlin, La., from this union came five children.
Swiney became a member of the Local 207 Union and retired, he was also a plumber by trade. He served as president of the Mallard Junction Water District for
several years and he was responsible for improvements and new projects at the water district.
On Friday April 10, 2020 Swiney went to be with the Lord after a long hard battle with numerous health conditions while being surrounded by his
family. Swiney was a hard working husband & father. He enjoyed landscaping his yard, gardening, riding his lawn mower and tending to his property in Mallet, La known as “The Camp.” He will be remembered as a jokester, smack talker and was
straight to the point with no sugar coating. Family was very important to him along with keeping old school traditions alive such as Boucheries, spending time with his grandchildren, keeping up with the family by visiting or telephone calls. Swiney
loved reading his newspaper, watching KPLC and eating honey buns & cornbread & milk.
He is preceded in death by both sets of parents. His brothers Harold Ceasar, Warren Ceasar Sr, Simon Guillory & Roland Cezere. His sisters

He is survived by his beautiful wife of 48 years, Ella Mae Artis Ceasar. One son Swiney Ceasar Jr of Kinder, La. and four daughters – Melanie Deshawn Ceasar-Amponsah (John) – Stafford, Tx;
Heather Roshawn Ceasar – Lake Charles, La; Danielle Nashawn Ceasar-Jones (Stacey) – Humble, Tx & Alana Lashawn Ceasar-John (Sheldon) – Jacksonville, Fl. Two sisters Diana Jackson of Carson, Ca & Katherine Cezere of Lake Charles, La. Two
brothers Presley Ceasar (Wendy) of Gilbert, Az & Thurline Ceasar (Cheryl) of Columbus, Oh. Thirteen Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, 8 God children and a host of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
