To the Informer;

I have been an resident from Lake Charles, Louisiana for 58 years and I had felt to write to your newspaper about many  problems, I been having in my life, concerning my well-being and what I have gone through in my personal life.

My husband had died in 2005 from liver failure at the age off 44 years old and we had been married for 24 years and we had two children in their teenage years at the time of his loss and when he had died it had been a sudden death in 5 days from liver failure and he had worked for a great company as an software engineer. Mostly, in his life he had suffered to many traumas with trying to keep his family afloat and at times he was constantly looking for employment, due to layoffs at different companies in the town of Lake Charles, but the torment and pain this man had to face through all of these problems has reminded me of the same exact situation I had went through in my life when he had passed away in 2005 from liver failure and he had suffered a terrible death, that keeping one’s;dignity was never even the choice of words at that time.

How I might be similar to my deceased husband has been that through our marriage, I always had road blocks in my life similar to him with his own problems,but I had his problems along wit additional worries in my life, but I had children to raise and helped him through many medical problems when he had two heart attacks in his early thirties and this was never easy on me,

 I had terrible problems trying to graduate from college,to find a job immediately and my husband became angry with me, due to not having a job and my degree taking to long to complete, with the stress in my life through college with family to raise and no money for a better car to my name to be able to pick my children up each day from school. I  was not exactly a person with money to buy another car, because I had no time in my life to work a job with other things taking place, along with college and hard courses to complete each day, until late hours in the morning I had to study and keep the role of a mother, wife taking place along with my status as an student.

I have not been able to succeed to better life, due to many past circumstances and how the unemployment problems in the town of Lake Charles has never seemed to help me through bad circumstances in my life, because through the stress of many things I had went through,over the years, my health has declined from the years of many issues.

An dangerous infection almost caused me to die in 2014 from Sepsis.I have been diagnosed now with partial working kidneys now and antibodies of lupus was found in my blood work an couple of weeks ago, that has really caused me to go through alot of stress through many of these problems and I still need a kidney doctor for my medical problems. I have not been made of money for good health insurance to get me through these difficult times in my life and have needed additional medical care for the lupus, but in this town if you have needed a specialist for certain problems, your nearest doctor would be located around the New Orleans area. I am so below-poverty, i am around the point of worrying whether I will have a roof over my head each month and ways to pay my living necessities. along with failing health in ways to extend my life from death.

The circumstances, I have given in this article was to please see if any employers could be hiring in needing someone like me to work an office job to pay my living means and medical bills for me to get the required things for myself in order to survive many terrible problems in my life and this would help me greatly along with my daughter.
