Woman arrested for prostitution

A New York woman has been arrested for prostitution by massage, authorities said.

Sulphur Police Capt. Jason Gully said Li Xu, 63, of Flushing, N.Y., was arrested after an undercover operation at Sulphur Massage, 2013 Ruth St.

He said during a massage, an undercover officer was propositioned for additional illegal services for a fee. Officers who were monitoring the undercover operation then entered the business and a search warrant was executed.

Xu has been charged with prostitution by massage and letting a disorderly place. Her bond has been set at $5,000 and the business license for Sulphur Massage has been revoked.

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Roderick Kirklin, 53, 2700 block of 7th Street — disturbing the peace; criminal trespass.

Alexander C. Boreing, 18, 5800 Weepingwillow Drive — disturbing the peace; theft, appearing in an intoxicated condition.

Jose M Fierro-Quintanares, 55, 100 block of Garrie Road, Gueydan — expired motor vehicle inspection; improper lane change; failure to secure a driver’s license; operating while intoxicated.

Trinity Hart, 18, 4100 block of Beau Chene Drive — disturbing the peace charge; appearing in an intoxicated condition.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Winfred Brian Clark, 44, Jamestown, N.Y. — drug possession; direct contempt of court. Bond: $5,000.

Karen H. Sosias, 51, 2510 Greenlawn St. — operating while intoxicated, third offense; operating vehicle while license is suspended; vehicle entering highway from private road, driveway, alley or building. Bond: $6,500.

Tyler Javon Glaude, 25, 5140 Weaver Road B3 — drug possession; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia. Bond: $10,000.

Sam Allen, 53, 1437 Tasca St. — domestic abuse battery, strangulation.

Tiffany Nicole Bruno, 36, 1902 Winterhalter St. Apt. C — direct contempt of court; illegal possession of stolen firearms, first offense; possession of firearm or carrying of concealed weapon by person convicted of DAB and certain offense of battery of a dating partner; possession of synthetic marijuana, first offense; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia.

Manuel Vallejo-Garza, 23, 907 Mill St. 3030 — domestic abuse battery, pregnant victim.

Courtney Paige Lebleu, 27, 19395 Pinehill, Iowa, La. — theft of a motor vehicle from $5,000 but less than $25,000; illegal possession of stolen things from $5,000 but less than $25,000. Bond: $10,000.

Ashton Gage Stanley, 23, 1515 Weekly Road, Sulphur — simple burglary; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; theft of a firearm. Bond: $100,000.
