Melissa Catherine Navarra, 26, and Randall James Edwards, 28, were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 2, 2019, in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Church in Lake Charles. Officiants of the double ring ceremony were the Rev. Nathan Long, Monsignor Jace Eskind, and Monsignor Harry Greig.

A graduate of St. Louis Catholic High School, Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La., and The Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, Calif., Melissa works for Navarra’s Jewelry & Gifts. A graduate of Jennings High School and Nicholls State University in Thibodeaux, La., Randall is a campus minister for Our Lady of Good Counsel.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Joseph Navarra II of Lake Charles, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.Richard Earl Edwards Jr. of Jennings, La.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Wilbert Derouen of Lake Charles and the groom is the grandson of Mrs. Olivana Hebert of Jennings.

Maid of Honor was Amanda Lee Navarra and Matron of Honor was Ashlyn Courville Brown. Bridesmaids were Reagan Claire Edwards, Leah Elizabeth Moore, Annie Elizabeth Whitbeck and Alyssa Menard Soileau

Flower girl was Anne Renee Edwards and the presentation of roses was done by Parker Lee Fairchild and Joseph Achille Fairchild. Ring bearer was Justin Anthony Edwards.

Best Men were Ross Joseph Edwards and Ryan John Edwards. Groomsmen were Riley Patrick Edwards, Richard Earl Edwards III, Rhett Christopher Edwards, and Robert August Purcell.

After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the newlyweds will reside in Lake Charles.
