Jordan Ashworth and Sgt. Jeff Morgan, both with Lake Charles City Police, conduct a search in Contraband Bayou at Kirkman Street Monday afternoon as part of a continuing investigation into a homicide that took place Oct. 24 on Reidway Street. Shawn Pardon, 34, was found dead on Reidway. An arrest has been made. A Lake Charles Police Department spokesman said he couldn’t comment on results from the search.
