Colleen Flavin and Mason Jacobs, both 29, were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. May 4, 2019, in the Episcopal Church of The Good Shepherd. Officiant of the double-ring ceremony was the Rev. D. Seth Donald.

A graduate of Alfred M. Barbe High School and LSU in Baton Rouge, Colleen is a Physician Assistant for Premier Health. Mason is a graduate of Massac County High School in Metropolis, Ill. and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Champaign, Ill. He is an Assistant Golf Professional at the Baton Rouge Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy (Kathy) Flavin of Lake Charles, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Julie) Jacobs of Metropolis, Ill.

Colleen is the granddaughter of Mrs. Marilyn Flavin of Lake Charles, and Mason is the grandson of Mrs. Willa Rae Jacobs of Metropolis, Ill.

Maid of Honor was the sister of the bride, Megan Flavin. Matron of Honor was the sister of the bride, Molly LaHaye. Bridesmaids were Hailey Jacobs, Stephanie Thompson, Emily Husted, Elizabeth Bass, Katherine Dampf and Julia Reed.

Flower girl was Harper Jacobs, and ring bearer was James LaHaye. Junior groomsman were Patrick LaHaye, Joseph LaHaye and Sawyer Jacobs.

Best Man was the brother of the groom, Matthew Jacobs, and groomsmen were Lucas Cromeenes, Jonathan Hauter, Clayton Parkhill, Elijah Glass, Travis Pullen, Cameron Austin and Samuel LaHaye.

After a honeymoon in Barbados, the newlyweds will reside in Baton Rouge, La.
