In partnership with AmeriCorps Lake Charles, Phillips 66 Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex hosted a bike safety event for the students at Pearl Watson Elementary School on Thursday, May 2, 2019. Phillips 66 donated 28 bicycles and helmets to be drawn from a pool of students from all grade levels meeting or exceeding their Accelerated Reader goals. Prior to the bike drawing, students were treated to hot dogs, nachos, cotton candy and lemonade while AmeriCorps taught the assembly about bike safety.
