Sulphur man charged with 3 counts felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile

Lake Charles – On March 22 Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives were advised of an incident in reference to carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
During the initial investigation detectives learned Darryl L. Zeno, 56, 931 Alice Street, Sulphur, had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl on three separate occasions in January.
Detectives also learned Zeno provided narcotics to the girl.
On April 12 Zeno, who was already in custody at the Calcasieu Correctional Center for unrelated charges, was arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile; and 3 counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Judge David Ritchie set Zeno’s bond at $450,000.
