Crystal Rae Butler, 55, of Lake Charles passed away
Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, in her residence.
Crystal was born Dec. 29, 1963, in Shreveport and was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. She devoted her working life to being a beautician and owning Crystal’s Hair Salon for the past 16 years.
Crystal attended St. Margaret Catholic Church.
She was a proud and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Crystal never met a stranger and was always the life of the party. She will be remembered for her vibrant personality and straight
forwardness.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 25 years, Joey Guillory of Lake Charles; daughters, Crissy Batiste (John) of Michigan and Emma Rae Butler-Guillory of Lake Charles; her father, Raymond Butler Jr. of
Lake Charles; five siblings; and six grandchildren, Alicia, Weslee, Jason, Judah, John and Stella.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Dell Domingue Butler.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, in
the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Darin Worthington will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines South in Carlyss. Visitation will begin from 9 a.m. until the start of the service Monday.
