The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a local man in the armed robbery of a Moss Bluff convenience store and a homeless woman for accessory.
Spokesperson Kim Myers said a man went into the store, located in the 1900 block of Sam Houston Jones Parkway, with a firearm early Monday morning and demanded money from the clerk. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash he fled the store on foot.
Myers said the man responsible for the robbery has been identified as Ryan K. Rashall, 33, 487 Telephone Road Apt. 3B
It was also learned Crystal M. Foreman, 38, homeless, drove Rashall to and from the convenience store during the robbery, Myers said.
Rashall and Foreman were both arrested later the same day as the robbery and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.
Rashall is charged with armed robbery; and armed robbery with the use of a firearm. Foreman is charged with armed robbery accessory after the fact.
Judge Sharon Wilson set Rashall’s bond at $250,000 and Foreman’s bond at $75,000.
