Beauregard hospital unveils new name: Beauregard Health System

DERIDDER — Beauregard Memorial Hospital officials said Tuesday that the facility will now operate as Beauregard Health System.
The name — along with a new brand and signs — was unveiled at a public event.
CEO William F. “Bud” Barrow II said that Tuesday was the first day in a new chapter for a hospital with a 68-year history in the parish.
“We realize that we are here today standing on the shoulders of past community giants,” Barrow said.
The change accompanies recent service improvements for the facility, now affiliated with Deers Creek hospital in Leesville and national organizations such as Vizient.
Hospital chairman David O’Neal said the vision for the future of the facility is to be a”premier gateway” to health and wellness services in the surrounding community.
New illuminated signs for the facility can be seen surrounding the South Pine Street campus, as well as nearby affiliated physician and medical clinics.
