Severe Weather ThreatNWS Lake Charles

<p class="p1">We are still expecting a threat for strong to severe storms late tonight into Saturday across our region. Large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes will be possible. In addition 1 to 3 inches of rain is expected. During periods of heavy rain, street flooding will be possible.

<p class="p1"><strong>The timing of the strong to severe storms is as follows:</strong>

<p class="p1"><strong>East Texas</strong>: 11 pm tonight – 4 am Saturday.

<p class="p1"><strong>Southeast Texas, southwest Louisiana, and central Louisiana</strong>: 3 am – 7 am Saturday.
