FRANKLINTON — A Louisiana grand jury has charged three men with raping children in separate cases.
District Attorney Warren Montgomery said Thursday that 41-year-old Andrew Fonz Hunt, of Franklinton, 29-year-old Louis Crawford III of Bogalusa and 27-year-old Kendrick Baker of Bogalusa were indicted Tuesday, each of them charged with first-degree rape of a pre-teen child.
Montgomery’s spokeswoman says that until they’re arraigned, prosecutors won’t know whether they have lawyers who could speak for them.
They’re jailed on bonds ranging from $200,000 to $800,000.
Montgomery says Hunt is accused of molesting and later raping a girl from the time she was 8 years old until she was 13.
Crawford’s accused of raping a 12-year-old girl, and Baker is accused of raping a 9-year-old girl.
