Police: Man shot, killed by homeowner after entering home

BATON ROUGE — Police in Louisiana say a 26-year-old man who unlawfully entered a home was shot and killed by a homeowner.
The Advocate reported Sunday that Baton Rouge police spokesman Sgt. Don Coppola Jr. said that David Michael Paul Martin entered the home around 3:30 a.m.
Coppola says Martin sustained apparent gunshot injuries from the homeowner and died at the scene.
