Man arrested for failure to register as a sex offender

<p class="p1">On Wednesday, February 14th, 2018 at 10 AM, Louisiana sex offender Brandon Joseph Gallien, 32, was arrested at the Lake Charles Police Department detective division.</p><p class="p1">Detectives with the Lake Charles Police department had an active warrant for Brandon Gallien’s arrest for failure to register/notify as a sex offender. </p><p class="p1">In late January 2018, Brandon Gallien moved from his registered Lake Charles address to an unknown address and an investigation into his whereabouts began. </p><p class="p1">On February 12th, 2018, an arrest warrant was presented to Judge Ronald Ware who signed the arrest warrant and issued a $20,000 bond. </p><p class="p1">Brandon Gallien was convicted in 2007 for molestation of a juvenile – his victim was a 10 year old boy. Brandon Gallien is a Louisiana tier 2 sex offender, requiring him to register with law enforcement for 25 years.</p><p class="p1">Brandon Gallien was booked at the Lake Charles Police Department and is currently incarcerated at the Calcasieu Correctional Center. </p>
