<strong>LC man arrested for child pornography</strong>

<p class="p2">A 22-year-old Lake Charles man has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities said.

<p class="p2">Zachary Cagle was charged with 80 counts of possession of sexual abuse images/videos of children, said Ruth Wisher, spokeswoman for the state attorney general.

<p class="p2">The arrest involved the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation and the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.

<p class="p1"><strong>Boston man arrested for obstructing train</strong>

<p class="p2">A Boston man was arrested Tuesday for obstructing a train and threatening deputies, authorities said.

<p class="p2">Jeff Davis Parish sheriff’s deputies were called to a railroad track near La. 395 in Roanoke after a train employee reported four people holding up the train, officials said.

<p class="p2">Chief Deputy Chris Ivey said Moses Owen Hudon, 33, was charged with simple obstruction of a highway, resisting arrest, and public intimidation and retaliation. Bond was set at $6,000.

<p class="p2">Angel Lee Vaughn, 26, of Lexington, Tenn.; Ronald Joseph Hasselbeck, 48, of Opelousas; and Robert Lee Maxwell, 42, of Dowagiac, Mich., were cited for simple obstruction and were released.

<p class="p1"><strong>LC man charged with domestic battery</strong>

<p class="p2">A Lake Charles man was arrested Wednesday after a domestic abuse incident in Jeff Davis Parish, authorities said.

<p class="p2">Shannon Dwayne Nelson, 42, was charged with domestic abuse battery with child endangerment.

<p class="p2">Chief Deputy Chris Ivey said Nelson beat his girlfriend, injuring her face. Ivey said there was a 3-month-old in the bed near the victim at the time.

<p class="p2">Nelson is being held in the Jeff Davis Parish jail on $2,500 bond.

<p class="p8"><strong>Thomas Russell Allyn</strong>, 39, La. 27 South — disturbing the peace by public intoxication, two counts of drug possession with intent to distribute.

<p class="p9"><strong>Rene Escamilla Garcia</strong>, 37, Houston — DWI.

<p class="p8"><strong>Mariah K. Daigle</strong>, 22, Fowler Drive — domestic abuse battery.

<p class="p8"><strong>Demarcus Deon Larocca</strong>, 22, Winterhalter Street, Lake Charles — marijuana possession.

<p class="p8"><strong>David Christopher Aguilar</strong>, 21, Galveston, Texas — police battery, resisting arrest.

<p class="p8"><strong>Matthew Aaron Bussell</strong>, 28, 251 Green Moore Road, Starks — unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Bond: $5,000.

<p class="p8"><strong>Mariah Kiara Daigle</strong>, 23, 1813 Carver St. — aggravated battery. Bond: $15,000.

<p class="p8"><strong>Joshua Paul Lewis</strong>, 30, 1501 Cessford St. — possession of stolen things $1,000-$5,000, drug possession, hit-and-run, possession of firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies.

<p class="p8"><strong>Robert Paul Doty</strong>, 29, 4012 Wildflower Drive, Sulphur — aggravated assault with a firearm, simple battery. Bond: $12,500.

<p class="p8"><strong>Christopher Paul Jones</strong>, 30, 1017 Shasta St., No. 8, Sulphur — communicating false information of planned arson, terrorizing. Bond: $50,000.

<p class="p8"><strong>Bryan Lavar Sias</strong>, 40, Rayne — inciting prostitution, drug possession, two counts of trafficking children for sex, computer-aided solicitation of a minor, indecent behavior with juveniles. Bond: $265,000.

<p class="p8"><strong>Delron Jerome Gordon</strong>, 48, 1105 Garfield St., Westlake — two counts of drug possession, marijuana possession, obstruction of justice. Bond: $5,500.

<p class="p8"><strong>Jeremy Brandon Fountain</strong>, 33, 212 Gelpi Drive — possession of firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies. Bond: $5,000.
