Key will miss Citrus Bowl

<p class="p1">LSU star Arden Key, a junior projected to be a top 10 pick in the next NFL draft, hasn’t officially announced he won’t return for his senior season.</p><p class="p1">But head coach Ed Orgeron said Wednesday that Key, nursing a knee injury and recovering from finger surgery, definitely won’t play in the Citrus Bowl against Notre Dame.</p><p class="p1">It’s the second straight bowl that LSU will miss a high-profile player as running back Leonard Fournette missed the Citrus Bowl last season.</p><p class="p1">Orgeron said that running back Derrius Guice, though nursing a undisclosed injury that has kept him out of practice this week, will return to workouts next week and will play in the bowl game.</p><p class="p1">But with Key out, the Tigers will be missing three linebackers as Donnie Alexander and Corey Thompson will also be missing.</p>
