  • On Saturday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., PhotoTek invites customers to its Christmas open house featuring refreshments, a complimentary photo ornament and the work of local artists Brice Perrin, Susan Hebert and Summer Boudreaux.

“We’re taking more photos than ever before,” said Lynn Broussard, PhotoTek co-owner.  “The quality of photos produced with cell phone cameras is getting better each time a new phone model is released. But fewer prints are being made. The print is the ultimate expression of photography. It stops time and preserves it forever. Putting it on Instagram doesn’t do that.”
