The museum will be transformed into a “spooky manor” for guests’ enjoyment, director Susan Reed said.
The Gibson-Barham Gallery will host scary ghost stories of old Lake Charles told by Adley Cormier, who will share the storytelling duties with three other “spirits” telling their own tales.
The Spooky Gallery will house the wine-tasting event so guests may listen to tales and enjoy Halloween wines: 7 Deadly Zens, Vampire, 19 Crimes, Hard Chard and a frightening white wine.
Empire of the Seed will provide ghoulish bartenders.
The Museum Ghostly Library will house a buffet fit for a giant from local restaurants, including Paul’s Rib Shack, Sloppy’s Downtown, 121 Artisan Bistro, Pujo Street Cafe, 1910, Casa Manana, Mazen’s and The Villa.
Guests can fill their plates and sit under the Sallier Oak for music provided by Ukeladies Man, John Guidroz and others.
