Lake Arthur man picked up on pornography charges

Jefferson Davis Parish detectives assisted Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations with the apprehension of a man wanted for Possession of Child Pornography and Distribution of Child Pornography. Jonathan Seth Oliver, 32, of 1005 Eighth Street, Lake Arthur was arrested Thursday by JDSO detectives. The investigation began in June 2017 when LSP investigators gathered evidence of Pornography distribution by Oliver. A warrant was issued Wednesday July 26 in 31st Judicial District Court. Oliver was booked into the parish jail on $50,000.00 bond.
