A 44-year-old Lake Charles man was sentenced in federal court Thursday to two years in prison for conspiring to steal over $190,000 in yard equipment, said U.S. Attorney Stephanie Finley.
Kevin Henry, who was the last of five conspirators to be sentenced, was ordered to pay $78,513 in restitution and serve three years’ supervised release, Finley said.
Henry pleaded guilty in 2013 to initiating the operation by asking Robert Jordan Handy, 26, of Lake Charles, to steal lawn mowers and other yard equipment, she said.
