Crime Roundup: Sulphur men accused of felony carnal knowledge

Two Sulphur men are facing charges of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, according to records from the Calcasieu Correctional Center.

Koby Blane Mudd, 537 E. Carlton St., was arrested Thursday afternoon and also charged with contributing to child delinquency. The 19-year-Mudd was released a few hours later after posting a $10,000 bond.

Caleb Holder, 1924 Honeysuckle Lane, was arrested Oct. 21 by Sulphur police. The 17-year-old Holder bonded out Thursday after posting a $25,000 bond.

Lake Charles man charged with third-offense DWI

A 30-year-old Lake Charles man has been charged with third-offense DWI, according to records from the Calcasieu Correctional Center.

Richard H. Harrison, 114 W. LaGrange St., Apt. 18, was arrested by state police Wednesday morning on Swisco Road in Sulphur.

He was also charged with refusal to submit to a chemical test, driving with a suspended license and improper lane use. Bond was set at $20,000.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

• Dennis Lee Wier, 45, 1809 15th St. — bank fraud, forgery, theft over $500. Bond: $45,000.

• Undre Delleon Legett, 49, 307 Ford St. — simple burglary, simple criminal damage to property $500 to $50,000, theft under $500. Bond: $17,000.

• Steven Hout Tea, 50, Houston — worthless checks over $1,500. Bond: $10,000.

• Justin Shane Landry, 19, 2111 Sage Drive — telephone communications harassment. Bond: $10,000.

• Jamie Rene Gerragauch, 27, 4314 La. 27, No. 105, DeQuincy — two counts of drug possession, drug paraphernalia. Bond: $9,000.

• Siv Nay Tea, 51, Houston — two counts of worthless checks over $1,500. Bond: $6,000.

• Kailey Kristine Morgan, 19, 416 Michigan Ave., Sulphur — possession of stolen things over $500. Bond: $5,000.

• Latonia Lionios Patrick, 39, 1728 Myrtle St., Westlake — aggravated second-degree battery.

• Blake Steven McDaniel, 32, 419 Clarence St., Apt. 7 — two counts of criminal damage to property under $500, three counts of simple burglary, two counts of theft $500 to $1,500, theft under $500.

• Charles Joseph Duplechin, 22, 3642 Duke Road — second-offense DWI, hit and run driving.

• Adams Charles, 36, 2004 See St., — two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm with obliterated serial numbers, drug possession.

• Chad David Vidrine, 36, 1427 Carl Lyons Road, Sulphur — drug possession, obstruction of justice, drug paraphernalia.

• Jeremy Sanchez Harrison, 24, 1743 Sixth Ave. — identity theft, possession of stolen things over $500, worthless checks under $500, second-offense marijuana possession.

• Ronald Tooney, 28, 916 Prater Road, Sulphur — theft over $1,500, drug paraphernalia.

• Till Kirk Archangel, 50, 4109 E. Broad St. — two counts of drug possession.

The Cameron Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

• Jenson Griffith, 21, Vidor, Texas — failure to register as a sex offender, improper display of license plate.

• Valeri Varnado, 49, Port Neches, Texas — three counts of drug possession, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, DWI, careless operation.

• Justin Miller, 24, 212 Balboa St. — suspended license, reckless operation, possession of an explosive, two counts of criminal trespassing, criminal conspiracy, flight from an officer.
