WINNFIELD (AP) — Police in north Louisiana say a 36-year-old man accused of killing the 18-year-old rapper known as Lil Snupe has surrendered to authorities.
Police Chief Johnny Ray Carpenter, in a news release, said Tony Holden turned himself in Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. He was booked into the city jail on charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. No bond has been set. It was not immediately known whether Holden had an attorney.
Holden allegedly shot the rapper, whose real name is Addarren Ross, last Thursday after an argument broke out during a video game at a friend’s apartment. Ross, of Jonesboro, had been shot twice in the chest.
