KENNER, la. (AP) — Kenner Police have identified the woman accused of leaving a baby in a mall parking lot while escaping after a shoplifting chase.

Police said Monday that 31-year-old Brittany G London of New Orleans abandoned the infant after shoplifting items from a mall store on Saturday, assaulting a security guard with stun gun and fleeing the parking lot in a Gold Honda Accord.

Detectives are in the process of obtaining a warrant for London for the charges of Child Desertion, Aggravated Battery and Theft.
